The Masonic Temple has thousands of square feet of event space! The Crystal & Fountain Ballrooms have capacity to host several thousand guests. Ticket sales for The Resolution Ball will be limited to 1800 to offer our guests a premier New Year’s Eve Experience. We hope you are one of them!

Just like any concert or event these days, tickets sales to the Resolution Ball are final and there are no refunds however TICKTS ARE TRANSFERRABLE. Like any concert or sporting event ticket, if you cannot attend you can simply give or sell your tickets to another guest. No name change is necessary.

Bundles
There are bundles available for a limited time that offer a free ticket for your group and vary depending on the ticket type. Note that the deals don’t last so book your tickets soon!  See the ticketing page for details.

Groups of 15+
If you have a group of 15+ you can set up a group with us so your friends can each pay for their ticket individually, without losing out on the bulk order savings! On The Main Stage: DJs Tommy Holiday, Cue and other guest DJs will be in the house to get the party started and keep you dancing. Ring in the New Year grooving to music from the decades, top 40, mash-ups, hip-hop, techno, a variety of current popular dance tunes, along with everyone’s favorites. Cirque-style performers will display eye-popping entertainment for Detroit’s most unique NYE entertainment!!

There’s no right or wrong answer to this – we have a ticket for everyone! With all ticket types (VIP, Party Pass, Late Nite GA) you will enjoy a champagne reception upon arrival until 10:30pm. For those wanting more, a VIP ticket allows access to both the (VIP Only) Crystal Ballroom & Fountain Ballrooms, express VIP entry and access with no-line waiting from 8-9:30pm, a strolling dinner of gourmet hors d’oeuvres and carving station from 8-11pm, 6-Hour bar package with 10 drink tickets. The VIP All-Access pass is your ticket to an all-inclusive evening!

Yes, the main floor offers a limited number of high top and cabaret tables and seats for guests who need to rest between trips to the bar, food stations, and dance floors, but with our entertainment line-up you won’t spend much time sitting! Tables and seats are not assigned or guaranteed. We recommend the VIP ticket and arriving early to stake your claim.

Yes! The only guaranteed reserved seating are the skyboxes on the Mezzanine level along with several VIP sections on the main floor. VIP Open Seating – All VIP guests will have access to the Mezzanine level theatre seats that overlook the main floor, as well as access to the 3rd & 4th level Lounges with extra private VIP Bars and over 1000 theatre style seats! Grab a cocktail, rest your feet, and enjoy the show.

With 2 Ballrooms there are tons of options for VIP Booths!
Crystal Ballroom (VIP Only)
The Crystal Ballroom offers main floor on or by the dance floor for groups of 6 (1 couch) or 10 (2 couches) and booths for 6 (1 couch) on the Mezzanine overlooking the dance floor.   Booths with 1 couch can typically host 4-6 people (3-4 seated) and 2 couch booths can host 8-12 (6-8 seated).

The Fountain Ballroom (VIP – Party Pass – Late Nite GA)
The huge iconic oval-shaped Fountain Ballroom boasts of a promenade level surrounding the room and great sight lines to watch the show! Because the Fountain Ballroom is open to all ticket holders, booths (couches) are sold separately from tickets so you can secure your “real estate” and purchase the ticket type that best fits your needs. In addition, this allows the individuals in your group to choose the ticket type they want so some can come early and others can arrive late.  Those that party a little less can get the GA ticket with a cash bar feature.

Your booth is basically your “real estate” for the night, so if you are all sitting, you are not at the right party!  Depending on your location and space you can invite some of your entourage to stop by and party at “your place”. Keep in mind that VIP tickets are required in the Crystal Ballroom.

How will I receive my tickets and receipt?2022-11-21T17:16:41+00:00

When you purchase your tickets on Eventbrite or ResolutionBallDetroit.com you will receive an email receipt for your purchase and barcoded tickets. You can either print out your E-tickets or present them on your phone to be scanned upon entry. If you are unable to locate your tickets the night of the event, DON’T PANIC, we can look you up on site!

It’s unlikely, as every year Resolution Ball SELLS OUT days in advance of the event. The event is usually sold out around December 26th so grab your tickets before they’re gone!

Yes. If you would like to pay for your tickets or VIP booth by cash at our office in Ferndale or via app including Venmo, Cash App or Zelle and save money on the convenience fees. You can make arrangements by calling or texting our Ferndale office at 248-543-1000.

Tickets can be presented printed or on your phone. If you can’t find your tickets DON’T PANIC. It may hold up the line for a quick minute, but we’ll be able to look you up and check you in on-site. Note ONE BAR CODE = ONE TICKET. Tickets and a valid photo ID are absolutely required for all attendees – No Exceptions

Our premium bar package is second to none! VIP ticket holders will enjoy a 6-Hour Bar Package with 10 drink tickets. Party Pass guests will enjoy a 5-Hour Bar Package with 6 drink tickets. 1 Drink Ticket is redeemable for 1 cocktail, beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. General Admission (Late Nite) ticket holders enjoy a premium cash bar.  Note that if you upgrade to a booth, your drink tickets will be applied to your bottle service.

You Bet! The Masonic has some of the most skilled bar staff around. They are bartending professionals and there will be over 25 bartenders at 9 bars available to serve you!

It’s very likely. We’ll have cameras and video crews circulating throughout the party all night long, so smile! Our video production team will be around the party for live streaming video of you and your friends partying like the rock stars. There will be photo galleries and a recap video posted on our Facebook page approximately 10-14 days after the event. All photos and video footage taken at the event may be used in marketing and/or advertising. Thank you for making us look good!
